Birthday, Happy Eva!

We recently celebrated lil' Miss Evangeline's 2nd birthday - She is a treat!
I wrote a song for her in the bass movin' style of Western Johnny Cash (her favorite) and she was jumping up and down as soon as I started playing it. The lyrics hang tight to the truth. Here they are:
We got this girl - her name is Evangeline
Evangeline Abuchu Rose… I pick the spiders in her toes; tickle-toes.
Evangeline Abuchu, also known as Eva
She can hang like a monkey, she can act like a clown; Jumpy jumpy, up & down
Crawlin' like a kitty cat - but that's not all
Swims like a fishy in the bathtub's wall
Yellow rubber duckies -swims like 'em too
In her bath full of bubbles from the spilled shampoo
She squeezes our neck with a hug & pats & a toothy grin & laughs
O she makes us laugh and laugh
Evangeline and sister Nellie Blythe
1 2 3 Now chasing me - in a wild game of hide and seek
Behind the curtain and sneaking a peek
Hey Bubu! I found you! Wrapped around my pinky in a little tutu
She has butterfly wings and a smile to boot
Fills our hearts with a song for two
Thank you, Jesus - Thank you Savior
We're singing of Your glories - we praise You alleluia
For since the dawn of time, Your plan
was for us to be this sweet girl's Mom and Dad…
We squeeze her neck with hugs & pats & toothy grins & laughs
